UNInizio is a project designed to provide a practical and intuitive guide for new students at the University of Udine, particularly at the Gorizia campus. It offers useful information about the campus (such as the cafeteria, administrative offices, library, and study rooms) as well as tips on the best places to eat or spend free time. The website also includes a simplified map to help navigate the classrooms, a link to WhatsApp groups, and mini-guides with the main steps to complete enrollment. There is also a comments section where students can exchange questions, advice, and experiences, creating a small support community among new students.
This idea was born because, together with my colleague, at first we found ourselves with very little information about the Gorizia campus. From there came the desire to put ourselves in the shoes of new students and create a simple and comprehensive guide that gathers everything needed to start the university journey in the best way. And it is precisely from this concept that the name UNInizio was born: a university start… made easier ❤
